The brief

The client wanted a canteen that would make an impression on staff and students while remaining practical for day-to-day school use.

Zoning the space

The concept created three distinct areas: Grab and Go, Comfort Dining and a Chill Out Zone.

Design development

Working with the client and architects, the team developed space plans, 3D visuals and furniture/product proposals.

Materials and feel

Natural wood, metal finishes, farmhouse-style tables and benches, acoustic panels and varied surface heights were combined to create a contemporary coffee-shop feel.
